In addition to my historical roles in industry, I maintain active, ongoing collaborations with industrial partners to bridge the gap between foundational mathematics, computer science, and applied technologies. Recent and current partnerships include applied research with Xerox PARC (now part of SRI) and Fitila AI. I welcome discussions for new industry-related research initiatives.

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, California
Trajectory Design Team Member, Guidance Navigation and Control Section (2004–2005)
Served on the trajectory design team for the Jupiter Icy Moons Orbiter (JIMO) mission. Because the orbiter utilized low-thrust ion propulsion rather than traditional chemical rockets, the trajectory design required leveraging the complex dynamical influences of Jupiter and its moons. I collaborated with a team to develop a lower-fidelity geometric understanding of these influences using the circular restricted three-body problem framework, which enabled the mission's high-fidelity trajectory designs.

Researcher, Hashimoto Signal Processing Lab (1994–1996)
Created image noise removal algorithms, resulting in U.S. Patents 5,974,194 and 5,892,853. By combining frequency and spatial domain information via projection onto convex sets, this algorithm successfully removed large scratches while preserving the texture. It was commercialized into Sony's professional video editing software. This framework influenced subsequent industry developments in digital image restoration.

Computer Graphics Software Engineer (1988–1994)
Developed a logic programming (Prolog) system to automate the creation of test programs for XGL, Sun's graphics library. I also contributed to traditional software verification systems and served as a core software developer for the XGL product.
